Men are statistically less likely to engage in health-seeking behaviours than women. Consequently, we see higher rates of heart disease, strokes, and in most countries of the world, a lower life expectancy for men.

As always with healthcare, prevention is better than cure so the focus is to encourage men to get regular check-ups, adopt healthy lifestyle habits now, and raise health awareness in general.
